"In some countries, they catch monkeys by putting a banana in a cage, and placing them at places they know monkeys would be. They'll leave it there, and then come back the next day to collect their hunt. Due to monkeys' nature, when they grab hold of something, they'll never let go of it. Thus, the hunters used a cage where the gaps inbetween them are just enough for the monkeys to stretch their hands in, but when they grab hold of the banana, they'll not be able to get their hands out unless they let go of the banana. So this way, they'll stay there with their hands in the cage all the way until the humans returns."
